This is one of the new parks established in 2019, it is found in Kagera region, Kyerwa district. It is in this park where the three countries of Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda boarders’ meet. The IbandaKyerwa Park can be accessed by road through various buses running to Bukoba town in Kagera region. One can also travel through water in a steamboat to Bukoba town in Kagera region. If travelling by air, one can book flights from Dar es Salaam to Mwanza City. Ibanda-Kyerwa National Park is the national park located in Kagera region, Tanzania and has an area of 200 square kilometres (77sqmi). Animals found in this national park include hippos, antelopes, Thomson gazelles, impalas, elands, baboons, to mention but a few. The park can be easily reached by flight from Dar es Salaam Airport to Bukoba Airport and then by road from Bukoba town to the park.
This Ibanda-Kyerwa National Park is situated on the eastern bank of Kagera River and this river is a natural boundary border between Tanzania and Rwanda.

The temperature of ranges between 13°C to 41°C depending on the area elevation.
