    Safari Description:

    5 Day Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari, All our safaris use well maintained and extended Toyota Land Cruisers with roof hatches for unobstructed and up-close game-viewing. All our safaris include all park fees, an English speaking driver/guide, meals and lodge accommodations. Price per person varies depending on group size.

    DAY 1: ARRIVAL ARUSHA AT ILBORU SAFARI LODGE: HALF BOARD
    Arrive anytime at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), Tanzania. You will meet us at the airport and pick up with private transfer to Arusha at Ilboru Safari Lodge we will gather in the evening for a pre-safari briefing and an equipment check. We will also confirm you have the appropriate mandatory medical coverage and travel insurance.

    DAY 2:  SAFARI TO LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK.
    We depart from Arusha and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. Although small in size, this park is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Lake Manyara covers two thirds of the park. At the backdrop is the wall of the Great Rift Valley, before which lies the ground water forest, areas of open grassland near the lake foreshore, and the Soda Lake.

    We enjoy a picnic lunch in this area, which consists of open grassy areas, hot springs, dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Lake Manyara National Park is a birding paradise that has more than 350 species of bird. The park is also famed for its unique and elusive tree-climbing lions. We dine and stay at Manyara Lillac Lodge Full Board.

    DAY 3:  FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN NGORONGORO CRATER.
    This day we will start early morning at 07:00 for the game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. Your Driver/Guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. After great all exploration in crater the driver will drives back to Arusha at Ilboru Safari Lodge Full Board.

    DAY 4 : DRIVE FROM NGORONGORO TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
    Early morning breakfast, then drive off the beaten truck to Serengeti National Park for full day game drive in  the  unique destination, Your safari adventure to southern plains which the real place  to give birth of their calves for migratory wildebeest during on December to February, the migratory wildebeest occupy the plain for breeding before moving clockwise towards the western wooded which is necessary to “synchronize the rut”  then moving to northern Serengeti before to cross the Maasai-Mara boarder  without entry permit  in  Kenya, before  to reach there, you drive to visit Olduvai Gorge, this is an archaeological site made famous by Dr. Leakey family, where human fossils dating back 3.5million years have been found, the canyon has become something of a cult  shrine for amateur anthropologists and archaeologists.

    This is an opportunity to  explore safari  lifetime, the sensational Serengeti  Plains, scenario of the breathtaking migration of over a million wildebeest  in a desperate struggle for survival  with our professional drive  guide who  have depth knowledge about  Serengeti  ecosystem  will  assist you in getting those unique and attracted game drive  in Serengeti, especially this annual year round phenomenon “the  great migration of wildebeest” the rinderpest  epidemic is believed to have decimated the herds in the early century! At that time, it is your opportunity to realize why Maasai called it “the endless Plains” it will be a perfectly time to witness the calving of wildebeest move after give birth at the specific migration area (Southern plain), before to start their round phenomenon!

    DAY 5:  MORNING GAME DRIVE IN NDUTU AREAS THE DRIVE TO ARUSHA.
    After breakfast we will start at 8:30 am for a half day Ndutu area. A striking characteristic of this area is the stunning acacia woodland, which is immediately surrounded by the short grass plains. Within this wooded area is Lake Ndutu – one of the Rift Valley’s soda lakes. At the height of the wildebeest migration, and when heavy rains have fallen, often lines of wildebeest can be seen crossing the lake.

    Accompanying the wildebeest are large numbers of zebra and Thomson gazelles. Tanzania is spoilt because of the migration. No other African county has game like it. In the dry season, the game around Ndutu is much like game viewing in any of the southern African countries. In some cases it is still better and you can never take away the feeling of space and wonder that the Serengeti evokes. Then drive back to Arusha town.

    DAY 0: DEPARTURE
    After breakfast is a free morning relaxing at Lodge or visit the Maasai Market( option), after having lunch in Arusha town, we  transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) connect flight back to home
